Warehouse Shipping Clerk

 

Pay: $24.78 per hour.

Shift differential: 3rd shift is $.65 per hour for the duration of the 6:30pm to 6:30am shift.

Bonus: $1,000 Bonus after 6 months of employment and with less than 2 attendance points.

Hours of work: Schedule is 4 days on followed by 4 days off.
Shift schedules are: 6:12pm to 6:30am or 6:12am to 6:30pm.

Some Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift and/or other powered industrial equipment.
• Loading/Unloading trailers.
• General housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Ability to work safely and comply with all Local, State, Federal, and WestRock laws, regulations, and practices.
• Perform the essential functions of the other positions within the department on a relief and fill-in basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the United States and have acceptable I-9 documentation.
• Must obtain forklift certification via internal training.
• Must train and qualify to work other positions in the Shipping Department.
• Read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, tape measures, etc.
• Must join and maintain in good standing with Local USW 264 per current labor agreement.
