Your primary job would be working with Patient Referrals. This is primarily a clerical job where you work with patients being referred out to other specialists. It includes insurance eligibility, insurance authorizations, communicating with both patient and referring doctors office.

- Assisting All Providers (Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants)
As a referral coordinator we would want to ensure that you had a full understanding of how our Medical Office works. You would be trained for providing support to the back office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are a must with all staff & patients. Constant disinfecting personal areas along with patient area. Covid vaccinations are mandatory (per state of California) for all employees, there are a few exceptions. Patients are screened before allowed in.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Referral: 2 years (Required)
