The Role

Working under the general direction of Revenue Cycle Management, the A/R Specialist is responsible for resolving claim issues for commercial and governmental payers in a timely fashion in order to secure timely reimbursement for our customers and processes all corresponding A/R transactions including remittances, adjustments, refunds, patient payments, etc. accurately

The Job

• Research and follow up on accounts receivables and claims with insurance companies
• Make appropriate decisions and calls to insurance carriers to maximize reimbursement on accounts
• Participate in training/meetings with Payers, internal departments, offshore partners, Client contact(s), etc., to address trends in denials or unprocessed claims
• Use data identify billing issues specific to outstanding receivables and partner with stakeholders to develop resolutions

About You

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in the Revenue Cycle space
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines, process, and procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into actionable solutions and insights
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and G-suite a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Pay: $19.49 - $23.47 per hour
