Location: Remote Work
The UCHealth Cancer Registry department abstracts more than 10,000 analytic cases per year. The team works remotely and completes cases for one academic facility, eight community hospitals and two medical centers. UCHealth Cancer Care is accredited by the Commission on Cancer as an Integrated Network Cancer Program. In addition, two of our hospitals have the National Accreditation for Breast Centers. Finally, UCHealth is certified through the American Society of Clinical Oncology through the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative. The Cancer Registry Department has a robust training and quality improvement program. Cancer Registrars are compensated for four hours of independent education monthly and a weekly meeting is held to discuss updates and challenges. The current software platform is Oncology. Hours are flexible!

Collects, manages, analyzes, and reports on cancer/tumor incidence data.
Work Schedule: .80/64hrs pp - Full Time - Days
Responsibilities:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
The pay range for this position is: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

- Identifies and analyzes the history, diagnosis, treatment, disease status and survival data of cancer patients treated in the organization.
- Prepares statistical reports on mortality rates, treatment effects, incidence rates of various diagnostic categories and demographic variables.
- Assists Cancer Committee with developing criteria for patient care evaluation, collecting data for protocol studies, and conducting audits.
- Complies with all reporting requests and requirements, including requests by the NCDB, quarterly reports to the State Cancer Registry and the annual ACoS report.
